Viewing requests often arrive as a one-line message, and it takes several replies to find out which property it is, whether the person wants to buy or rent and when they're free. Tips for this form
- Link to the form from each listing and ask visitors to copy the listing reference into the first field, so every request names the right property.
- Keep the alternative date optional; it simply gives you a second option when the first slot is taken.
- Turn on the auto-responder so people get an email saying their request arrived and that you'll confirm the time.
- If you show properties on fixed days, say so in a short paragraph at the top of the form.
Questions about this template
Does the form book a fixed viewing slot?
No. It collects requests that you confirm yourself. If you'd rather let people pick from your real free slots, Zotview's online booking system does that, and you can use both side by side.
Who receives the viewing requests?
Each request is emailed to your account address and saved under Submissions in your dashboard. You can add more recipients in the form's settings, for example a colleague who handles viewings.
Can I ask buyers and tenants different questions?
Yes. In the builder you can use conditional fields to show extra questions depending on the answer to buy or rent, for example the planned move-in date for tenants.
