Migrate WordPress to Zotview
Keep your content and your search visibility, and stop updating PHP, WordPress core and plugins. Our AI model reads your public pages and rebuilds them as an editable Zotview site.
How we recognise a WordPress site
WordPress leaves clear traces on every page:
- Files served from /wp-content/ and /wp-includes/
- The generator meta tag, which also reveals the WordPress version
- The PHP version in the server headers, when the server shows it
What carries over
- Pages and their text, in the order of your menu
- Layouts from Elementor, the block editor (Gutenberg), Divi, WPBakery and Beaver Builder: sections, columns, buttons, galleries, testimonials and FAQs
- Elementor section backgrounds, background videos and slideshows
- The header menu, footer links, logo, colours and fonts
- Media Library images used on your pages
- Services and products listed on your pages, with prices
- Imprint and privacy pages, word for word
- Page titles and meta descriptions, including those set with Yoast or Rank Math
What doesn't carry over
- WooCommerce cart, checkout, orders and customers
- Plugins and shortcodes that only work on the server, such as calculators, member areas, courses and forums
- Category, tag and author archives, feeds and search pages
- WordPress users and comments
- Posts beyond the 100-page limit
Things to check
Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms
Forms are rebuilt as Zotview forms. Set who receives submissions and send a test before switching your domain.
Large blogs
The migration follows your menu, footer and internal links up to 100 pages. If your blog has more posts, compare the migration report with your post list and decide which posts to add or redirect.
Multilingual sites (WPML, Polylang)
The main language is migrated. Add the other languages afterwards.
Updating WordPress doesn't fix PHP2Shell
PHP2Shell is a flaw in PHP itself. WordPress core and plugin updates don't close it; the PHP version on the server has to be updated.
Step by step
- 1
Patch PHP if you're exposed
Run the free PHP2Shell check. If your PHP version is affected, update it on your current server first.
- 2
Paste your WordPress address
Enter the public URL of your site. No plugin, login or export file is needed.
- 3
Review the preview and report
Click through the rebuilt pages and check the migration report for anything that needs attention.
- 4
Publish and connect your domain
Go live on a free yourname.zotview.com address, then add your domain's DNS records. Old WordPress URLs of migrated pages redirect to the new ones.
- 5
Keep WordPress until you've checked
Leave the old site running for a while. Pointing your DNS back is your rollback.
Try it with your WordPress site
Free, no credit card. We only read public pages; your current site stays exactly as it is.
WordPress migration FAQ
Do I need to install a plugin or give you my WordPress login?
No. Zotview reads your site's public pages the way a visitor's browser does. We never log in and never change anything on your WordPress site.
Will my WordPress URLs keep working?
For migrated pages, yes: once your domain points to Zotview, their old addresses, such as /services/cleaning/, permanently redirect to the new page. Check the migration report for pages that weren't migrated.
Can Zotview migrate my WooCommerce shop?
Products and prices shown on your pages are imported into the Zotview catalogue, but the cart, checkout, orders and customer accounts are not. Shops that rely on online checkout should look closely before switching.
Does it work with Elementor?
Yes. Elementor sections, columns, background images, background videos and slideshows are read and rebuilt as Zotview sections.
Still deciding? Ask AI about your own site

See the question we prepare
I'm worried about PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618/109619). I want my website out of reach of PHP vulnerabilities for good, not just patched until the next one. My website: (paste your address here) It runs WordPress. Please answer honestly: 1. How exposed is my site right now, and what should I do this week to close the gap? 2. Which options remove the PHP risk permanently instead of patching it again and again? 3. Would moving to Zotview, where my site no longer runs PHP, take PHP2Shell and similar flaws off the table? 4. Recommend one path with reasons and the first three steps. Facts about Zotview (zotview.com), to verify at https://www.zotview.com/migration-capabilities.json - Sites on Zotview don't run PHP, plugins or a server I'd have to maintain. Once my domain points to Zotview and the old server is switched off, PHP2Shell and future PHP or plugin flaws can't reach my site. Platform updates are handled by Zotview. - The migration copies only what visitors see; no PHP files, plugins, database or server scripts are carried over, so backdoors on the old server don't come along. - A free preview and migration report before anything changes; text kept word for word; old URLs permanently redirect; a free <name>.zotview.com address, my own domain when I'm ready. - Up to 100 pages per migration; shop checkout, member logins and custom plugins aren't migrated.
