How to add a booking link to Google Maps for your barbershop or salon
Short answer
To add a booking link to Google Maps, open your Google Business Profile using the account that manages it. Add your website in the profile's website field, then add your booking page under booking or appointment options, if available. Save and, after Google approves the edit, test the link in Search and Maps.
Give people who find your shop a way to book
Someone who finds your barbershop or beauty salon on Google Maps can use your link to choose a service and appointment time on your website. Keep the path from your Google profile to booking clear, so they can book without calling or sending a message.
Before you start
You need a Google Business Profile you manage and a published booking page. If you do not have a profile, start at business.google.com and follow Google's verification instructions. Open your booking page on a phone and check the services, prices, address and available times. For multiple branches, use the booking page for the location whose profile you are editing.

- A verified business profile
- Your full website address and the link to your booking page
The website field and booking link serve different purposes
Your website field introduces the shop, including its services, prices and address. A separate booking or appointment link should take clients directly to a page where they can complete a booking for that location. Adding this link sends clients to your website; it does not connect Zotview to a booking system inside Google.
Google's options depend on the business category and region, and menu names vary by device and language. If a booking option is unavailable, add your website address and make its booking button easy to find. Keep the category accurate rather than changing it just to reveal a link option.
Keep the rest of your profile accurate
Match your Google opening hours to your booking availability. Use special hours for holidays, Eid or changes during Ramadan. Choose the category that describes your business, add real photos of the shop and your work, and reply to reviews. A working link should lead to information that matches the profile.
If the link does not appear after saving
Check that your profile is verified and look at the edit's status. Saving does not guarantee immediate publication. Copy the full https:// address, check for typing errors, and make sure the page is publicly accessible and lets clients complete a booking. Check Search and Maps again after approval; do not assume a fixed publication time.
Add your website and booking link step by step
Prepare your website and booking page
If you need a site, enter your shop name and services in Zotview's preview, then publish at zotview.com/w/your-name and add online booking. Check the page before sharing its link.
Preview your barbershop websiteCopy your links
Open your published website and booking page and copy their full addresses. Use the public booking link rather than an editing or dashboard address.
Open your Google Business Profile
Sign in with the account that manages your profile. Search for your shop on Google or open business.google.com, then select the correct location.
Add the website address
Open the profile editing controls and find the website field, usually in the contact information. Paste your full website address and save. Make sure visitors can easily reach booking from that page.
Add the separate booking link if available
Look for booking or appointment controls in the profile management options. In Maps, these may be under Edit profile. Choose the option to add a link, paste your booking page address and save. If several links appear and Google offers a preferred link setting, you can select yours.
Test the approved link on a phone
After approval, find your shop in Google Search and Maps. Tap the link and check that the correct branch, services and available times appear. You can also print the same booking link as a QR poster for your mirror or counter.

Why can I not see an appointment link option?
Available link types depend on your business category and region. If the booking option is missing, use the website field and put a clear booking button on your site. Keep your actual business category.
Can I use Instagram or WhatsApp as the booking link?
Use a dedicated page where clients can complete a booking. Google's business link guidelines exclude social media pages, messaging links and link shorteners from action links. An Instagram profile or WhatsApp conversation is not a substitute for that booking page.
Do I need my own domain?
No. Free Zotview sites are published at zotview.com/w/your-name. You can submit your published link to Google; acceptance depends on Google's review and guidelines. Connecting your own domain is available on paid plans.
Does adding the link enable booking inside Google?
A manually added link opens your booking page, where the client completes the booking. It does not establish an integration with Google's booking providers or guarantee a particular booking button on your profile.
