Exposed to PHP2Shell right now? Update PHP on your current server first. That's the immediate fix; moving to Zotview is the longer-term one. Check your PHP version
What gets migrated
See what moves automatically, what needs a look from you and what stays behind, before you switch anything.
Automatic
No PHP, plugins or server to patch
Your new site doesn't run PHP, plugins or a server you maintain. Once your domain points to Zotview and the old server is switched off, PHP2Shell and future PHP or plugin flaws no longer reach your website. We handle platform updates.
Rebuilt from visible content only
Only what visitors see is copied: no PHP files, plugins, themes, database or server scripts. Backdoors or injected code on the old server don't come along. Review the preview for any unwanted text before publishing.
Public pages and their text
Up to 100 pages found through the menu, footer and internal links (the sitemap only as a fallback). Text is kept word for word; every page is checked against the original and re-run when content is missing.
Page structure
Heroes, columns, cards, galleries, lists, FAQs, testimonials and calls to action become editable Zotview sections.
Header menu and footer links
Menu order and labels follow the original site.
Images and background videos
Copied to Zotview storage when you publish (up to 400 files, videos up to 60 MB), so the site keeps working after the old server is switched off.
Logo, colours and fonts
Taken from the original design; fonts are served from a GDPR-friendly font CDN.
Contact details, opening hours and social links
Phone, email, address, hours and social profiles found on the site.
Services and products with listed prices
Imported into the Zotview services and products catalogue. Shop checkout is not migrated.
Legal pages (imprint, privacy policy, terms)
Copied word for word. Review them, because your hosting and processors change.
Maps and YouTube or Vimeo videos
Embedded again on the matching page.
Page titles and meta descriptions
Each page keeps its original title and description. Canonical tags point to your own domain.
Old URLs
Old addresses, including nested paths and .php or .html pages, permanently redirect to the matching new page once your domain points to Zotview.
sitemap.xml and robots.txt
Generated for your own domain, ready to submit in Google Search Console.
Migration report
Lists every page with its old and new address, how much of the original text was matched, and what needs your attention, before you publish.
Needs your review
Contact and enquiry forms
Rebuilt as working Zotview forms with the same fields when you publish; submissions are emailed to you. Check the recipients in your dashboard before you switch your domain.
Blog archives
Posts reachable within the 100-page limit are migrated as pages. Larger archives need a manual import.
Multilingual sites
The main language is migrated. Other language versions have to be added.
Third-party booking widgets
Not copied. Set up Zotview booking or embed your provider again.
Not migrated
Shop checkout, cart and payments (e.g. WooCommerce)
Products are listed in the catalogue, but orders and payments are not migrated.
Member logins and user accounts
Only public pages are read; user data is never accessed.
Plugins and custom PHP or server-side code
Where Zotview has a matching feature, such as forms, booking or the catalogue, you can use it instead.
Password-protected pages
Only pages a visitor can open without logging in are migrated.
Comments and other user-generated content
Not migrated.
What happens to your SEO?
Your website has earned its place in Google. The migration is built to carry the signals search engines rely on over to your new site.
Titles and descriptions kept
Each page keeps its original page title and meta description.
Old URLs redirect
The old address of every migrated page, including nested paths and .php or .html pages, permanently redirects to its new address once your domain points to Zotview.
Canonical tags on your domain
On your domain, every page declares itself as the canonical address. Preview links on zotview.com are not indexed, so they never compete with your site.
sitemap.xml and robots.txt
Generated for your domain and ready to submit in Google Search Console.
Before and after you switch your domain
- Compare the old and new address of every page in the migration report
- Decide what happens to pages outside the migration, for example older blog posts
- Set the form recipients and send a test enquiry
- Lower the TTL of your DNS records a day before the switch
- Open a few old URLs on your domain and confirm they land on the right page
- Submit sitemap.xml in Google Search Console and watch the indexing report for a few weeks
Nobody can promise rankings after a website move. These steps keep the signals search engines use intact.

My website: (paste your address here) Please answer honestly: 1. How exposed is my site right now, and what should I do this week to close the gap? 2. Migration FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. Migrating your site and publishing it on a zotview.com address is free. Paid plans add more features; you can upgrade later if you need them.
What gets migrated?
Public pages and their text, page structure, menus, images and background videos, logo, colours and fonts, contact details, services and products with prices, legal pages, and page titles and descriptions. Forms, large blog archives, other languages and third-party booking widgets need your review. Shop checkout, member accounts, plugins and password-protected pages are not migrated. The migration report lists every page and anything that needs attention.
Should I patch PHP first?
Yes, if your site is exposed to PHP2Shell. Updating PHP is the immediate fix. The migration is free and doesn't touch your current server, so you can patch today and move when you're ready.
How long does it take?
The draft usually takes 2–5 minutes. Going live depends on your review and your DNS change, which usually applies within minutes but can take up to 48 hours.
What happens to my Google rankings?
Page titles and descriptions are kept, old URLs of migrated pages redirect permanently, canonical tags point to your domain and a sitemap.xml is generated for Search Console. Rankings can still move after any website change, so follow the checklist and watch Search Console for a few weeks.
Will my old website be affected?
No. We only read public pages, like a visitor would. Your current site stays exactly as it is until you point your domain to Zotview.
Can I keep my domain name?
Yes. After publishing, add your domain and we show you the DNS records to create. SSL is set up automatically, and your email stays where it is.
Can I undo the switch?
Yes. Keep your old hosting until you've checked the new site. If something is wrong, point your DNS records back to the old server.
How does the AI work?
A fast AI model reads each page and checks that no content was left out, then a more capable model designs the site, its menu and its colours.
