Your services

In Makkah, a barbershop serves the men of its district all year and, near the Haram, pilgrims who shave or shorten their hair to leave ihram after Umrah or Hajj. Zotview's AI builds your shop's website with your services in about a minute, in Arabic or English; you add prices and online booking, so clients know what you offer before they walk in.

  • Your website and online booking page, built together
  • Clients request appointments any time, even at night; every request reaches your inbox and dashboard
  • A booking link for your Instagram bio and Google profile
  • No commission per booking

Website and online booking are in the free plan. Pro with your own domain: $19 a month.

What a Makkah barbershop website needs

Head shave and trim as services of their own

After the sa'i, a man leaves the state of ihram for Umrah by shaving his head or shortening his hair. If your shop serves pilgrims, add the head shave and the trim as two short services, each with its SAR price, next to your haircut, beard shaping and razor shave.

Your district in Makkah

Name your district with the city, for example Al Aziziyah, Makkah or Al Awali, Makkah. The contact page shows your address, opening hours and a map once you add the address; mention the street or a landmark near your door.

Arabic, or English for pilgrims

Pilgrims come from all over the world, and many of them don't read Arabic. A shop that serves its own district can build the site in Arabic; a shop near the Haram that serves many pilgrims can build it in English instead.

A length for each service

Give each service its length, since a head shave is quicker than a full cut, and set how many clients each time takes, for example one per chair. Online booking only offers free times within your opening hours.

Running a barbershop site in Makkah

01

Hajj season and Eid al-Adha

In Hajj season and the days of Eid al-Adha your hours may change from one week to the next. Update them in Zotview as they change, and online booking only offers the times you are open.

02

Ramadan nights

In Ramadan many men come after taraweeh, and the last nights before Eid are among the busiest. Switch to your Ramadan evening hours when the month starts, so clients book those times instead of waiting.

03

WhatsApp and Google Maps

Enter your mobile number with the 966 country code as the business phone for a WhatsApp button, and add the booking link to your Google Business Profile, where someone new to the city can find you on the map.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost? Do you take a commission?

The website and online booking are part of the free plan, and there is no commission per booking. Pro, with your own domain and without the Zotview badge, costs $19 a month.

Can I build the site in Arabic?

Yes. Pick Arabic as the site language before the preview is built, and the AI writes your services, from haircut to head shave, and the booking page text in Arabic. Write the SAR prices and your district as you usually do.

Can clients pay online?

Yes, if you want: add your own payment provider's link (iyzico, PayTR, Moyasar, Tap or any other) in the booking settings, and clients see the deposit or price before they book and pay on the provider's page. The money goes straight to you; Zotview never holds it. Without a link, clients pay in person as before. Those who leave an email receive their booking confirmation there.

Can clients choose a specific barber?

Not at the moment. Bookings go into one shared schedule; there are no separate calendars per barber. You can limit how many clients each time takes.

Do clients get a reminder before their appointment?

Clients who leave an email receive the booking confirmation and, for bookings made more than a day ahead, a reminder email the day before (you can change or turn this off). Zotview doesn't send SMS or WhatsApp reminders. Right after booking, clients also see a "Send confirmation on WhatsApp" button: one tap opens a chat with your business with the service, date, time and booking code filled in, ready to send. The button shows when your business phone is a mobile number.

How do I set my hours for Hajj season and Eid in Makkah?

When Hajj season starts, change your hours for each weekday in Zotview, for example open earlier, and set the clients per slot to the chairs you have working. Online booking only shows the times you set, and after the season and Eid you put your usual week back.
